WALNUT GROVE FARM
Thoughtful Riders, Happy Horses
At Walnut Grove Farm, we strive to make horses and riders feel better for having been a part of our program and our barn family. Beth Walkowicz, owner and trainer, has owned WGF since 2011. In that time, its historical barns and beautiful acreage have become the backdrop for many happy adult amateur eventing, dressage, hunter, and pleasure boarders and students, the East Aurora Pony Club, and the Walnut Grove Farm IEA teams.

LESSONS
Whether you want to compete in the Upper Levels of Eventing or Dressage, cruise around the 2'6" Hunters, or go on local trails with friends, Beth Walkowicz can take you there. Having spent time living, working, and learning on some of the greatest farms with the worlds' most accomplished horsemen, Beth has the tools to help you excel at being the rider you want to be.
TRAINING
One of Beth's favorite things to do is improve the relationship you have with your horse. Whether it's starting one off the track (currently 1/3 of WGF residents are OTTBs thriving in their second careers), problem-solving a communication issue between you and your horse, or tuning your horse up to get you to the next level, Beth is here to help.
BOARDING
Come join the Walnut Grove Farm barn family. Emphasizing the happiness of the horse and owner, our 10-12 boarders find that the care is tailor-made to suit their horse's needs. With an indoor, outdoor, track, access to trails, and occasional off-the-farm outings, you and your horse will avoid boredom and make great friends with like-minded horse owners.
ABOUT BETH WALKOWICZ
Head Trainer
Beth Walkowicz grew up as an eventer and Pony Clubber in Western New York, and began delving into hunt seat equitation on the IHSA team at Alfred University. During college, Beth took a half a year to live and train at True Prospect Farm under the watchful eyes of Phillip Dutton, Bonnie Mosser, and Heidi White. Upon graduating, Beth moved to England to obtain her British Horse Society teaching certifications. She spent her time there training with many wonderful teachers, including Christopher Bartle, former Eventing Olympian and chef d'equipe of the German and British Three Day Teams, and Jane Bartle-Wilson, former Dressage Olympian and chef d'equipe of the British Dressage Team. Every day in England was riddled with riding, and unmounted lessons on horse care and teaching from the best in the business.
Having had the distinct honor of training extensively with 'the greats,' Beth has become an excellent horsewoman in her own right. Known for her ability to be kind and empathetic to both horse and rider, Beth keeps lessons fun while striving for good, better, and best practices. In the past decade, she has had students compete at the USDF Region 8 Championships, the AREA I USEA Championships, compete through the Intermediate Level in Eventing, qualify and compete in the American Eventing Championships, win the Pony Club National Championships for Dressage in Lexington, Kentucky, and win IEA National Championships in Hunt Seat Equitation. More important than all these accolades, though, Beth's students and their horses have fun on their personal journeys, whether the goal is national level, or riding spook-free around the track.
